About Time

The book design drew inspiration from David Rooney's text "About Time" and integrated it with another text, specifically Peter Mendelsund's "What We See When We Read."

The selection of "What We See When We Read" was based on its exploration of time and its relevance to graphic design. The connection between the two books was established through contrasting styles: the first text adheres to a classic design, while the second text adopts an italicized and expressive format. To facilitate a seamless reading experience, a guiding line at the bottom of the book assists readers in following the second text alongside the first. The second text, resembling illustrations rather than conventional paragraphs, often gives the impression of forming shapes or objects, enhancing its visual impact.
